Trying to adjust the cable it's a little sloppy

At the transmission. I suggest saturating the nut for days if not weeks with pb blaster if you’re in a rust belt. Break the stud and you’re replacing the cable. Not a fun job
So there's no way to adjust it from the inside at the shifter I crawled underneath there didn't really see a place for it to adjust underneath maybe I didn't look close enough

Follow the trans cable under the drivers side of the engine to the shifter at the trans. There’s a big nut right at the end of the cable. There’s a lot of adjustment once you loosen that a little. Be careful if you’re under the car and have it out of gear!

Best $20 I ever spent at a transmission shop. My shifter was loose and sloppy and I hated it. 10 min and $20 it felt like new!
