Cameron is putting together a MM.
Well, on the dyno I only hit 13 psi. On the track I've been hitting 16.5. I think if I get my trans tightened up and maybe swap to e85 and play with my timing, I think i can get into the 10s.
But I put the car together to be a fun street car not a race car. I dd'd it for the last two months. And I plan to drive it alot next year.

I think you’d actually be sucking the same CFM w/ a larger filter and elbow vs. just leaving the small one. Either way not an issue for 600.
Here’s mine hiding where the radiator used to reside. And that’s after mounting the 98-02 GM A/C condenser I used all the way forward as I could! The small filter just barely fits. The new radiator is directly under it and raked backwards at the bottom. Space was a serious premium.
I wish my intercooler was as easy as yours! My inlet actually passes right thru the middle of the bumper support that I sleeved with 6” steel pipe and welded the front and back halves onto. That and the radiator were probably my most challenging things I did engine wise.

Thanks, I have alot if detail work to do under the hood. I scabbed alot of it together in a hurry this fall to get some miles on it. It's my first turbo build, so been learning as I go, tuning as well. Thankfully I have a local buddy who is really good with hptuners.

I was gonna post the thread here, but I didn't wanna clog it up with the typical bs of a chevy in a Ford lol taking away from the actual build.

Did this up for my buddy with a challenger.... I think that was my favorite part of running this car at the track. The butt hurt from the guys I beat who were truly not expecting it lol.

Per K&N*
"That brings us to size.
Use the formula below to compute the minimum size filter required for your particular application. The usable portion of the filter is called the EFFECTIVE FILTERING AREA which is determined by multiplying the diameter of the filter times Pi (3.1416) times the height of the air filter in inches, then subtracting
.75-inch. We subtract .75-inch to compensate for the rubber seals on each end of the element and the filter material near them since very little air flows through this area.
A = effective filtering area
CID = cubic inch displacement
RPM = revolutions per minute at maximum power
Example: A 281 CID Ford engine with a horsepower peak at 6,500 rpm.
281CI X 6,500RPM / 20,839 = 87.65
If you are sizing a panel filter, multiply the width of the filter area (not the rubber seal) times its length."
The panel filter would need to be 9.4"X9.4".
The filter I have is 127.25" in Effective Filtering Area.
*Note: changed to reflect MM application.
