    Thanks Eddie!
I am getting psyched up to finally get the old '85 Foxbody back on the streets again.
My original intent was to assemble it myself....but the parts were so dang expensive that I didn't trust myself.
One silly mistake could have translated into a LOT of lost time, effort and money.

Rick Leggett built the FE for the 427 Cobra and its still running flawlessly after 20 years.
So, I trusted him to put the 363 SBF together right.
He told me that he built almost the exact 363 a year ago for another customer, and it dynoed at 584 HP and 500 LB-FT of Torque! (flywheel)

Is your brother going to drive the Cobra when you race? And will he be able to keep up?
You "feel" the difference because you want to "feel" the difference. Since you just spent money on the upgrade you "have" to feel the difference

I'm looking to eliminate the double pump process I have to follow right now to get the pedal hard

I'm sure that a 'run-in-Mexico' speed contest is in the near future!

It will be a severely traction limited race....but what's a little tire smoke between friends?

    Nice '83 GT!!

Did it come with that 'GT' logo back by the hatch?
    I've never seen that before.

Aren't those 390mm TRX tires 'fun' to find and pay $$$ for?

Yeah! It was added as a dealer installed option...along with the louvers in the rear window.

Lord have mercy! I am in need of a set right now (My car tires date code is (09/83) Ha! Ha! BUT the originals still hold air and ride well! (They truly made them different back then...but it rides on alternate wheels when driving over 20 mph)

My brother had an '84 GT350 with the TRX rims.
Apparently Coker bought the rights to mold the Metric TRX tires.
When he HAD to buy a new set of TRX tires for his GT350 it cost him $400 EACH!

If I had a Foxbody with those TRX rims, and really wanted to keep it original looking,
I'd buy a set of reproduction 16" TRX rims from LMR and never have to worry about those stupid Metric TRX rims again.
    LOTS of P225 & P245-16 tire choices.

Hey Joe, if you ever bring it down to Ocean City, let me know, the new retirement homestead is 30 miles south of O/C in Virginia. Also got a new ride to go with the house.
