    worn carpet where a lazy left foot was resting

    my driver side door entry, from the sill over the hump - forward to mid kick panel, is worn from lazy left foot

    I'm hoping a car parter can razor a good size section of nice carpet, hopefully that area for the shaping, so I can discreetly razor a patch in.
    If you do, here is a pic of where i need

    red area = worn
    blue area = replacement piece wanted

    let me know
    thanks

    I guess I'm glad I put my weathertech liners on after seeing that worn carpet. https://www.mercurymarauder.net/foru...=103800&page=2

    Wasn't there a guy on here about a year ago selling the last OEM NOS carpet?

    You may want to consider replacing the whole carpet. There are some economical alternatives:

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/03-06-MERCU...gAAOSwUH5aT-vg

    Or you can head to your local yard and pull a carpet in good condition from a 03-05 Grand Marquis with charcoal interior. The carpet is exactly the same color as ours.

    I was looking at aftermarket carpets, yes. After looking / thinking, the section trick may not work so well.
    I have local yards, so this is an option.

    Possibly, I'm 4 hours out I-84 to I-81 in Scranton / Wilkes Barre

    If you give me a location, and some pictures of the visible areas when installed, I might come get it. It might be the one I can decide to section or not to section.

    OEM - only imagine what cost that would be.
    I'll get Weathertech front before next winter's harsh driving. For summer, OEM Marauder mats and a nice carpet it is.
    I do not like the looks of Weathertech, but the function is worth it.
