    64 Marauder

What do you think about this 1964 Marauder for sale here in Minnesota?

    https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/a...889975165.html

Can someone give me some brief information on the different Marauder models available in 1964? I know there is the Park Lane, Monterey and Montclair. Is it a different car or just the trim level?

Beautiful Marauder! Wish there were engine pics. Is it as clean there as it is every where else? That side mirror is a rare piece, as is the floor mat and vinyl roof. Price might be a little high, but on the other hand not too many 1964 Marauders around with 49,000 miles, if that's real.
    1963 Marauder S-55, Super Marauder 406
Only factory 406 powered Marauder, and earliest built Marauder documented to still exist.

Kirk, I have never seen that mirror before. It looks like some odd mirror/spotlight, considering it has a hand grip? I would like to know more about it.

Yesterday I responded to the CL ad asking for pics of the engine compartment and original sale invoice. I also asked about rust on the frame. No response yet.

See post 20 in Kirk's history of Marauders. I didn't think 390-2V was a dual exhaust set up. As far as the full width front floor mat, is that a L/M logo or maybe from a different year? The angle of the picture of the jack makes it look as if you can't turn the hold down bolt without hitting the jack clamp, but surely that's not so. I think that price is a smokin' hot deal for that mileage, except for the rust.

Good catch! I didn't pay any attention to the dual pipes

    64 marauder

Hey guys. I’m from MN and actually talked to a guy yesterday who went and saw this car in person. It looks great from the pictures but he said the rockers, and rear quarters and completely shot. Rusted through to the outer frame. Car looks great but I wouldn’t pay more than 7 or 8k for it.
