First time back to the track.

Probably took a 10 yr absence from the 1/4. Finally got a new toy worth taking. It was very needed. I couldn't do any real wot tuning on the street. Definitely tell in the slips the improvements we were making. After the first trip, I definitely got the itch for more, lol, I ended up getting some drag radials for my next trip out to improve my 60'.

*****y video of the first trip. Test and tune night.

First trip in first attachment on street tires.

Second on the radials, I could actaully launch under boost.

Can't wait to get back. I still wasn't spinning at launch so I think I can push my 60' better. And I am rehearing from 4.10 to 3.55 this winter. Crossing the end on the Rev limiter in 3rd. Looking back on the scans my 2-3 shift was lasting. .8 seconds, so that'll definitely be getting rebuilt this winter. Can't complain to much, 200k junkyard trans lol.

Sorry about the crappy attachments, ink is really light on the slips.

31 spline 8.8 with yukon dura grip and 4.10 for now, dropping to 3.55s.

    Race weight was 4580lbs

Currently running a very "safe" tune as far as AR and timing. Tru boost set to break wastegate @ 16.5psi (wastegate has a 7 psi spring)

First trip was on Coopers in stock size and mostly bald.
Second trip was on et Street s/s 275/60-15

Yeah, I'm one of "those guys" who ruined a high mileage marauder (had 225k at purchase) and is the "most built" version of an 03.

I put it together with all e85 compatible components. I might switch. Currently just running 93 octane.

    My license plate reads...
    Bstdmrc

Which I intended to be read boosted mercury, but has become bastard mercury instead lol.

Curious why you don’t care for your air filter? I run the same shorty on my street tune at 603 with no problems at all. I have the Procharger bird catcher for the race tune.

Also, was I reading the AFR right on the dyno pull at 7.8 I think?? If so, there’s the problem!

Looks great. My only beef with engine swaps is at car shows when I walk up to a sick ‘29 Tudor rat and see a stupid SBC! No thanks, that completely kills it for me.

He didn't have the dyno afr hooked to my car. I have it on my A pillar. I was recording the pulls with my hptuners setup. So he was just watching it off the gauge as he made pulls.

I put a elbow on it and have a filter probably three times that size on it now.

Yeah Chevy swaps are over played. But I wanted to hit a mark of 600 wheel horse and wasn't willing to pay to do it with a 32valve. I'm very familiar with LS platform. I also have a jeep I built and did a Lq9 with. It's what I'm comfortable with.

The engine in the marauder, actaully used to be in my jeep before I swapped the Lq9 into it.
