Gap With Upper Control Arm Replacement

I'mtalling Moog upper control arms, there's a 3/16 gap between strut housing and inner control arm bushings. Am I supposed to put the supplied washers in the gap?

I don’t recall any washers supplied. I do remember having to adjust the bushings in my press to line up correctly.

Mine came with the washers and it said to use them in the installation. If not you will have the gaps.

I ended up using press to push the bushings in to match removed control arm.

There should be spacers included. I’ve installed at least 4 sets.
