    Compression tester adapter

I've recently purchased a compression tester for my marauder None of the fittings work on our 4v heads. Is there a specific adapter for our heads? My cornwell set will not work. I even thought about modifying a old spark plug to use as a adapter.
    Thanks...

I used a standard 14mm adapter in my 04 that has 9 thread heads, but I tried to use it to do a leakdown test on an 03 with 4 thread heads and found the threads are recessed too far. I bought an Actron compression tester at Advance Auto that has a long 14mm adapter, I should get to it in the next few days. I'll let you know if it fits, but it looks like it will.

Had the same problem, I purchased a second tester that fit. The problem exists at the taper on the tip

That's the same problem I'm having. I may just make one from a old plug.
    Thanks

I didn’t have time to do the test today, but I did spin the tester into the head to make sure it fits. This is what I bought from summit when I was passing through Ohio, but I saw the same one at my local advance auto. You could see the 14mm long thread adapter in the picture, I held it up next to a spark plug and it’s about the same length.

Awesome...thank you. I'm gonna order one tonight.
Will this work on the 03 and 04 heads?
    Thanks

I can’t see a reason why it wouldn’t work on both heads
