    CAI what are our options/solutions

Well recently I been messing with the Marauder for a better CAI the one I currently run is the K&N one which has been on the car for 10 years from mildly modified to where she stand now
i know some of the members here were lucky enough to get the JLT when they we’re offered, others like me really didn’t have a choice, so I decided to change that, I recently switch up my TB unit to the larger Accufab 03-04 cobra unit and this was a huge improvement over the oval accufab one, like 600 CFM more!!
so I decided to change the CAI, looking at my GT 500 it seem that this would go on with very little modification , so I test fitted it and wow is it close!
So I found a good used one locally for 100. Bucks.. couldn’t pass up that deal!
Quick mock up using a 45 degree inlet 4.5 at the TB to a 5.0 to The inlet the IAC goes to the side where the TP is and the other attaches to the valve cover, modify the wiring for the slot style maf
last piece is to fit the air filter shield by using the K&N one as a template, I will be sending out the JLT to be painted black like car, I compared the two my current SCT was. 90mm maf put the K&N bottle necked down to 3 inch... the new JLT is just shy of 5 inch!
one I get it back on the car I will be heading to the Dyno for some results!

So you were using the bullit style before? I think I run the same as your new one (CTB2003ONLY). If so, it is definitely a huge step up.

I ended up having to bump the idle stop screw a hair to keep it from having the dreaded off idle stick. No issues since and have had it for 3-4 years.

Yup built style and went up to the cobra one, I too had to bump it up a bit as well, I can tell you I felt the improvement just even driving it a part throttle and WOT it pulls a lot harder!
