    Power for amp

I searched for this but didn't find any thing, where is the best place to run a power wire thru the firewall for an aftermarket amp in the trunk.
I was thinking of feed it into the door jam on the passenger side and maybe piercing the rubber boot for the door wires and bringing it in that way
or drilling thru the sheet metal and passing it thru there.

any suggestions or idea's how did you do it?

There are a few grommets on the firewall to run stuff through, I know because i've done it. Check out these pics, they might help:

I have been looking at the firewall and there is not much room there, I'm thinking maybe just running the power under the car and coming in
the trunk, I think there are some grommets in the trunk well

I was able to run cable as big around as my index finger, I think it'll be easier to push the wire up from inside the car leave extra by the battery and there is room in the black plastic wire channels between carpet and door sills.

I ran the 6 channel rca cables down the center of the car so they do not pick up interference from the battery cable. Keep em separate

I know this is older but figured it warranted a reply.

I drilled a hole on the passenger side up high underneath the carpet near the ac evap box. I originally had the wires and rcas ran along the side door trim to the rear and it had an audible ground loop whine that followed rpm. I re-ran the power wire down the center of the car under the center console and now its whisper quiet. I can post a pic if anyone needs one for reference.
