    New little Sister

Came across a car I just could not pass up. The Marauder is secure enough in himself that this little cutie can join in the fun. Never thought I would own a Chevy, much less get a C1. WE are going to drive this thing every chance we get, just like the Marauder. One for show, one for GO. The most hilarious thing is both have a 4.6 L engine. One is 230 Hp and the other 505 Hp.

Here is a '61 that is 'For Sale' locally. They usually get snapped up quickly. Drought Conditions Exist for the C1 locally at the moment. Just daydreaming...

You never stated how your 'vette was equipped beyond the base motor. Which transmission? Power top? Power windows? Inquiring minds want to know! A couple of interesting ones came through here in recent years, completely loaded with Powerglide, Rochester Fuel Injection power windows-top, etc. They sold quickly. Here is a '62 C1 that sat for awhile but finally sold within the last week.

When I look at your 'vette, I immediately think of:

Very nice. Always liked the look of the '58 with the louvered hood, toothy grille, and chrome trim on the decklid.

She's not well optioned. Has the power glide auto transmission. The top is a manual white top. 283 single four bbl. Hand crank windows, wonderbar radio. Heater components are all missing, but it is a heater car. Missing the windscreen cleaner tank and hoses too.

I have a lot of Chevy stuff to figure out.

I put LED bulbs in the tail lamps and front signal lamps as the 1157 bulbs were too damn dim. I installed a new led approved flasher, but, it does not flash. Pain in the ass trying to get this to work.

Funny thing is the fuse box in this thing is the size of my thumb. There are only about 12 wires in the whole car.

Thanks. Going on a lift tomorrow to see about structural integrity. It sure is world's away from the Marauder.
