The Eagles, of course is the number one band of all time. Led Zeppelin is legendary... Rush... Pink Floyd... Kiss... There are so many bands from that time period I feel blessed to have grown up then. I also like the bands that didn't get so much attention. Electric Light Orchestra, Alan Parsons Project, Moody Blues... stuff that had a different sound.

Love APP. Agree they are an underrated band.

Who are you channeling: the ghost of Steve Dahl? lol. I'm a 1970's kid, yeah I hated disco, except for gym dance class, only because all the 10th grade girsl loved it --- shameless pandering, I know...

I was the Ramones/Dead Kennedys/B52 guy after Bonzo Bonham died...but in my old age, I'm not so hard on disco...given what followed...which was even worse

Sometimes, you just want to sit in the dark, crank up the Pink Floyd, and tune out the world...

Awesome song. Prefer the Van Morrison version the most.

George Benson - Gimme The Night

He had several good songs around that time but this one is disco for sure.

Here lately, as I've gotten older, my taste has changed. I'll always love oldies from the 70s, but I'll find myself listening to classical, opera, jazz, and blues. Been on a big blues kick as of late. Jimmy Thackery, Lucky Peterson, and guitar God Joe Bonamassa...
