    blower fan

    My blower fan is acting up. Sometimes it shuts off, then starts...Othervtimes it wont shut off.... BCM the issue?

    no its most likely the resistor has gone bad

    I had the same problem. The wiring got hot and one connection would intermittently work. I had the pigtail replaced and spliced in. No problem since. Replacing the motor probably won’t work if it is the same thing

    Most likely the BCM is bad. Try tapping it with a screw driver.

    99.9% chance it's BCM.

    Mine did same, 2 times W/I a 90 day period.

    The 2nd has been going good for 4 or 5 years now.

    Get Motorcraft replacement, the aftermarket ones are junk.

    Ok thanks. I repaired it about 8 years ago... soldered some loose connections will try again

    Yup most definitely the BCM....was poking it and sure enough..was going off and on....Just a ***** to get at that thing.
