    Winter Wheel Options

I'm looking for a steel wheel to put snow tires on for my "new to me" Marauder. Where can a guy find steel beater rims these days? I am looking to maintain the 18" rim as my car has the Baer big brake kit.

You should be able to find steel wheels at any local junkyard nearby.

Honestly, unless you REALLY want to be "cost effective", just pick up a set of 18x8 mustang replica wheels from a place like american muscle or something.

Maybe taurus or explorer police steelies would work? Not even sure if they're 17 or 18's, even if they are 18's you'd have to worry about caliper clearance.

Or, better yet, Craigslist/Facebook marketplace. Not much on the local Craigslist at the moment but check often. Right now, these for $450 are the only ones that will work:

It might be more than what you need, but I just posted a whole set of mounted Bridgestone Blizzak winter tires for sale at the Marauder Parts for Sale forum. The rubber is excellent on all four, w/ less than 10K miles on them; $290 takes the lot. (I'm selling because my Marauder got totaled last summer, unfortunately.) PM me if you're interested; thanks.

OP stated he has a big brake kit, would need at least 18" rims for clearance.

I bought a set of 2010 Mustang GT OE 18x8 wheels from American Muscle and wrapped them in Goodyear WRT Snow/Ice tires, front 235/50 and rear 255/55. Was very pleased with them especially during dry weather on the highway, only felt slightly floaty above 75 mph. Any 2005 to 2014 Mustang production style 18x8 wheel will fit. The only 18" steel wheels that may fit are from the Taurus & Explorer Police Interceptors, may require a hub centric ring though.
