    2003 Supercharged Marauder Fuel issues

Have a Supercharged Marauder that I recently put dual 340 fuel pumps in. Updated fuel module for dual pumps and still having issues with fuel delivery. Car showing codes for fuel system pressure. Figure something from the fuel module not making it to the ECM and the ECM can't resolve. Putting car in limp mode. Anybody running a similar system that might know where to go from here.

Installed a Fuel pressure module built for dual fuel pumps

Can somebody map out the process of how the fuel pressure module regulates pressure without a pressure regulator and tells the ECM how much pulse to put at the injector. I feel that the ECM is getting the wrong signal from the fuel module. This causes the ECM to put the car in limp mode. Due to a strong gas odor from the engine oil I feel the injectors are flooding the cylinders and diluting my oil at the same time.

Your ECM is fine. Your using 2 high pressure, high draw pumps.
Trust me. Your modified FPDM is going nuts with those 2 high draw pumps.
Do the wiring upgrade first. It will help a lil. Dual FPDMs is the key tho

Do you have to re-map the ECU wHen running modified fuel pump modules?

There is no "remap" for a modified FPDM. A modified driver module doesnt need anything tune related.

I dont like going in circles. You'll figure it out sooner or later.

I’d be looking into the FRPS. Could be it has failed and you are running pig rich.

yep most likely your frps is leaking and hosing down the engine. Ive seen several engines die that way.

    see 4 posts up ^^

btw, if your making less than 600rwhp you can simply swap out the stock pump for a stock coyote pump, no need to mess with the fpdm or anything else

but to answer your question, the fpdm does not give any pressure to the ecu. The frps tells the ecu what pressure the rail is at and the ecu modulates the fpdm duty cycle to deliver the desired fuel pressure it wants.

The tune does need to be adjusted for the higher flow fuel pumps. But there are many other opportunities for problems, too.
Thanks to Darrin @ BC Automotive:
$1800 and it was worse than when he started!
