My Marauder is alive after 3 years of being dead......

I finally got the reprogrammed computer and in the package was a sheet that said to verify the plugs or coils were not the cause of the prior computer failure. So I ordered new NGK plugs and coils from rockauto.
so when they arrived I started on the passenger side and they were all okay. The driver side was not so good. The first one towards the front was a little oily but no concerns yet. It went downhill real fast from there. The rest were beyond juicy......the socket and plug both came out dripping with oil.....oh did I mention the second coil was completely melted and the spring and most of the coil pieces were out of the hole. The same plug as the melted coil was barely even hand tight. I needed assistance from this point and had my mechanic buddy look and he said most of the threads were missing. He got the new plug in and we kept going. The back two plugs were completely under oil. But we got it all back together. I asked if I should order a new valve cover gasket set but he said to let's wait to see how the motor starts to see if it's still going to be savable.
couple days later the locksmith came out and programmed the computer to acknowledge the keys and it started immediately but they only let it run for a few seconds.....I was at work.
When I got off later I started it and yup it fired right up and the self leveling fired up and the rear came up. I have a weird thumping noise coming from the dash possibly an hvac issue.
the motor idles okay I don't think it's ticking or a rod....it sounds like an exhaust leak or maybe a bad cat....and I would assume really really old bad gas.
it has oil, coolant is low...oil looked okay. I have new tires for it once I can drive it and I called the dealer and the car never had the lighting recall so I'll do that too.
    any thought.......

Don't do the lighting recall, they'll butcher the wiring harness.

Have FBM or someone upgrade your LCM. = FAR better way to handle the problem.

Pull the covers and reseal the top of the engine. Have You done the timing components? Surprised the fuel
Pumped worked after sitting that long. Replace the fuel filter and give it some fresh oil and coolant. Burp the system. Good luck!

I'm bringing one back to life after sitting over 5yrs. Can't wait!

The relays in the LCM are too small for the amperage going thru them which is why the LCM fails.

A modified LCM has had the relays replaced with stronger ones.
