    Do these people keep their feet on the peddles while they try to move them? Causing the gear to break? Or it just gets brittle over time and breaks on its own?

    Over time I would assume. I adjusted mine back in ‘04 along with my tilt wheel, seat, and HVAC controls. The only thing I fiddle with is the shifter and tunes.
