    Straight pipes!!!!

I’m currently running straight pipes on my 03 MM. Meaning no cross pipe x or h pipe.
A buddy of mine was telling me I’m loosing power and toque because of that.
    any thoughts on my setup?????????

Total loss of power you have no back pressure. Loud does not equal fast. Loud equals pissed off neighbors. If you can't hear your tunes or have a conversation with your passengers it's to loud.

pantheroc deleted the mufflers on his car but I believe kept the H-pipe.
    It sounds decent.

Ideally, the closer to the engine you can get the balance pipe/x pipe the better. You will suffer some power loss from not having a balance pipe. Your exhaust has to travel all the way to the tips of the tail pipes to find balance, which is the opposite of what you want.

I've dyno'd cars that have picked up over 100rwhp simply by adding mufflers and extending the pipes to the rear
