    Which timing cover ?

Hello all. So I just bought a wrecked Marauder from a friend. A drunk driver hit him head on on New Year’s Eve. The front of the frame rails took the hit. Cooling is smoked. From the front of the engine back is fine though. I’m going to body swap it onto another frame and rebuild it....because I’m crazy like that.

Anyway, the timing cover is broken. I want to Eaton swap it in the future. Since I have to buy a timing cover anyway, should I get a terminator cover or stick with the Marauder cover ? Which one is best in regard to doing the Eaton swap ?

Thanks in advance for any info you can pass along.

Stick with the marauder cover, use quality eaton swap brackets for a marauder and you’ll never have any issues

What would be wrong with using one from another cobra motor with the 3 bolt tensioner?

    ^^^^Belt routing for the accessories.
Would work fine with a single belt centri but not with a PD blower.

The 3 bolt tensioner will not work with the Eaton swap brackets.

Thanks for the advice fellas. Makes sense to stick with a Marauder cover.

hopefully this ‘07 crown Vic parts car for $500 happens. It’s in great shape and has practically every part I need. Gonna swap the frame out and use the front sheet metal, nose and cooling stuff. Will swap the front marauder suspension over because I t’s all in excellent condition. Anyone know if the radiator is the same ?
