Squeaking/Chirping thats Constant but goes away when braking

    Hey gents,

Fixing up this MM and have a handful of rattles and squeaks from the front end. One I noticed will chirp all the time between 10-55mph but the second I touch the brakes For normal braking the sound goes away. Then sound will reappear when I let off the brakes. I read a few things on the CV pages but nothing that seemed exactly like my issue. Any ideas? Thanks

How do your front rotors look?
It's possible that there is rust buildup at the edge of the pad contact area. A high spot can cause a squeak when making light contact with the pads.
Have you checked the wheel bearings?

It’s most likely the little clip that’s attached to your brake pad that touches the rotor to let you know that your pads are worn and due for replacement

So is that the infamous hood latch squeak you're talking about? Did you spray it with WD-40 or just replace the latch outright?

I put in the rubber triangles from a different model (town car maybe), adjusted my front posts and then when none of that helped I turned up the radio.
