    Oil Pan

I am putting together a back-up motor for my stock '03 Marauder.

This will be a REAL "toy" motor that will probably have some type of power adder. So far, I have acquired a teksid block, forged rods and pistons, FR500 cams, both "B" and "C" heads. I am also in the process of acquiring a 2003/2004 Cobra crank.

I have searched the different forums here but could not find any real information on which oil pan most of you are using for your high HP/torque motors. Sean Hyland's book makes reference to a Canton 15-794 that has two different pickups (one for the Cobra Mustang and one for the GT). Therein lies the more basic question I guess....Can one use the same oil pan on our Marauder as on the Mustang?

Thanks for any inputs and I apologize if this subject has been discussed before.

You can make all the power you want, with the stock pan.
You can also fill it with 7 quarts without the crank sitting in oil

Zack is right, you don't need a new oil pan.

This is the only aftermarket pan made for panther platform cars
