    Thanks!
    1st 2:97
    2nd 2:10
    3rd 1:46
    4th 1:00
    5th 0:80
    6th 0:63
The throws on the shifter are so short and crisp!
With a 3:55 rear should be a nice combo.

    Close to mine. My 2nd is a 1.78 and 3rd being 1.30.

Like all produced the quick 1-2 is quite tricky to achieve without missing and grinding (keep in mind mine is still a 100% ‘12 GT500 bone stock unit and pretty much stock shifter) But now 20,000 old it behaves no differently at least.

They addressed this problem with the 2nd gear ratio change not too mention the obviously better fork guides and other goodies. I guess the biggest issue was lack of fluid movement from the master. Not sure what your plans are but I went with a monster billet master from Tick Performance that seemed to address any and all issues I had.

Hard to compare a Marauder against an ‘85 fox but I think your combo sounds stout!

I wish first held out just a wee bit longer and the same for 5th but overall it’s hard to complain. I’m 95% confident I couldn’t have picked a better matched gearing for this heavier car.

    Keep us updated!

What rear gears are you running?
I'm going to run a cable operated clutch if the fork doesn't interfere with the LT headers.
BTW: How did you check the 'bellhousing' run-out vs flywheel/pilot bearing with the Tremec?

My newly installed 4.30’s felt great but only lasted one month. (Or should I say one rolling 1st gear hard launch on street tires in Mexico)
Under advice of my gear guy he recommended dropping back to a 4.10 because most ladies say more girth is best.
The 4.10’s feel pretty much no different than the 4.30’s did.
I didn’t bother checking anything. My original clutch, flywheel, slave, and trans where a matched set to a 1,800 mile take out of a newly purchased shop car going under the knife. So I just ordered a new pilot bearing for an ‘04 Cobra (my short block) and everything was peachy for a short time.

I was notified well in advance the clutch was quite toasted but I wanted it for R&D. It held up maybe a year and of course at that time budget constraints forced me to purchase another next to new but used stock clutch/plate/flywheel off EBay on the cheap and I added a new stock slave cylinder, but had to retain the pilot as this time around I couldn’t get it out easily.
Bled her out (always a pain to do..) and it has been good since. That was back in ‘14 so besides slipping on the dyno at anything near 5,700 it’s held up perfectly fine on the streets and honestly I couldn’t vision pedaling it any longer at anything over 6,100 or so. I couldn’t imagine a good stout shifter, stickies, and a McLeod RXT..

    Roughly 19,000 miles now!

You might consider ordering a Marti Report: martiauto.com. These are frequently mentioned in ads for Ford products in Hemmings Motor News.
