    2016 Ford Explorer A/C

    Hi everyone,

The A/C on my wife's 2016 Ford Explorer Sport is leaking freon. It's either the condenser or one of the fittings. It's on the passenger side down close to to the bottom of the condenser. Any chance there is a extended warranty, recall or TSB for this since it kind of an environmental issue? It appears I would have to remove the entire front clip to gain access to that area to check the fittings. It has about 77K miles.

    Thanks, Curt

The local Ford dealer says it the condenser. $1860. I ordered a new condenser and a receiver dryer/accumulator from Rock Auto and I'll replace it myself.
