I don't believe there is any alignment for the rear end. Cars with independent rear suspension can be aligned.

Only if you installed aftermarket adjustable control arms... I've never seen them used on the MM but anything is possible.

The OEM ones are a simple 2-bolt R&R each arm. Sounds sketchy, be cautious.

If you’re going to replace the rear lowers replace the rear uppers, the bushings are much smaller and they’re always worn/damaged

I was told that anytime you replace the control arms on the rear YOU MUST realign the front end because it's based on the rear settings...? They agree that you do not realign the rears.
The replacement lower control arms were $273.00 each plus 290.00 installation. Not complaining just stating...
    Thanks for everyone's response....

Realign front end when rear lower control arms replaced????

All they can do is tell you if your rear thrust angle is within spec and it won’t dog walk. There is no adjustment to correct it if did besides replacing parts or correcting a bent frame. I don’t know about needing a front end alignment after rear suspension work?? Never heard of it and can’t think of any reason for it. But I’ve been wrong at least twice in my lifetime.

What I can say is that you got royally hosed on them control arms.. A nice brand new set of both uppers AND lowers from Metco is like $450 and an absolutely huge upgrade over the stock flimsy ones.

I'm with justbob. You should have gotten billet rear control arms. The car would handle much better for a cheaper price. But, hey it's your money to spend as you ant.

I replaced my rears with Metco arms, never did an alignment until I replace the tire. Alignment guy said no problems with the rear.
