    245’s all around

Hi everyone. Got a 2004 Marauder that has traction control. Some people say 245’s all around make the system mad, others say they have issues. My front tires are real, real dry rotted so I’m replacing them soon. The staggered look is cool and all but it’s just not my thing. So to put the myth to rest, will 245’s all around really give me trouble with my traction control and abs systems?

Not a problem if you don't mind pressing the traction control button ever time you start up.

Traction control requires 3-6 % tire dia. Difference or turn it off every time you start or restart the car

Yeah it makes sense. But to be honest, as a new driver, I think it’ll be smart for me to keep my traction control system usable especially for winter roads. Thanks again everyone.

I run the same size on my 2004 . This allows me to rotate tires. Just turn off traction control every time. In the winter a run dedicated snow tires staggered size.

That is a solid idea but as a high school student I’m not ready to put the money into 2 sets of tires. I’ll just buy some more 235’s for the front in a few months. Thanks all.
