Question What is the "AH Value" of the Motorcraft BXT-65-850?

My batter tester is asking me to input an "AH Value." It say the info is on the sticker of the battery but I can't find it! Thanks in advance for any assistance!

I don't think that is right Spectragod, the tester manual says, "in general, the battery capacity for 12V vehicles is above 30AH." The meter itself is asking for a two digit number.

What is the "AH Value" of the Motorcraft BXT-65-850?

    165 reserve capacity X 25amps divided by 60 minutes = 68.75 AH

Learned the formula on google in under two minutes because bored. I’m now an expert in the field.

    Question

Your google skills are better than mine since I couldn't find the formula justbob!

From the Motorcraft spec chart I see where you got 165 for the reserve capacity, but where did you get (25) amps?

    Thanks in advance justbob!

Zim, are you sure the battery tester is for a 12 volt? Your mm battery is really not a deep cycle to be rated at amp hour.

Most 6 volt are 125-225 amp hour and can only be tested when fully charged.

Charge your battery, is this for a rv or boat? If the standing voltage drops significantly under a load fully charged, it’s just a bad battery.
Put a multi meter in it and see what it does under a load.

    Question

I just got the battery tester from amazon.com, it is an Ancel BA101 and is for "cars/boats/motorcycles & more." I haven't used it yet, but reading the instructions for a quick test w/ the battery in the car one step asks for the AH Value. Maybe because it is a tester for multiple battery applications? Thanks in advance for your time Turbov6Bryan!

I purchased a charger from Harbor. Re Freight that is digital. Came out Wednesday morning car wouldn’t start. Set up the charger found it was down in the 11 volt range. Recharged up to the 14 volt and started the car. Drove the car for 5 minutes turned it off and tried to re-start and battery was dead.
It was 10 months old from Costco.
Returned it got a new one.

I use a midtronics, as that’s what the dealership uses, not only does it tell the state of charge but also the state of health. I also don’t need to plug in numbers that are not printed on the label or literature for said battery.

Most "quality" battery testers use cold cranking amps (CCA) and not amp hours. Amp hours is seldom listed on the battery.
