    Introducing my “new” pick up!

I turned in my leases 2018 F150 and was not going to replace it for a while but after 4 days w/o a truck I couldn’t deal with it. I’d been cruising cars.com for 6 months looking for a bucket list truck (2008+ F250 6.0ltr manual trans 4x4 std or Supercab) but they’re all rotted to he ll. So came across a 2011 6.7ltr A/T (had to give up my M/T dream - I hate you Fing FOMOCO!) F250 Lariat from a SW sun state. Absolutely ZERO rust underneath. Going to pull box and Por-15 underside, rockers, cab corners, cab floor, frame & lines. It’s a really, really, really nice truck! Still a quiet ride, no squeaky rattly interior. I keep finding options I didn’t realize it had. Just found power folding/telescoping mirrors! 20.5 mpg is nice!

Got a smokin' deal on it and the dealer had to repair a coolant leak before I picked it up - turbo mounting gasket.

After 800 miles all I can find wrong is a drivers seat lower cushion cover, rear shocks & there is a tire needing re-balance.

Fighting with the 1st gen Sync radio at the moment. it pairs, connects and phone is playing music but no audio from radio...

So what your saying is your radio doesn’t play radio. I’ve always said that the future smart phones will no longer have a phone option..

Nice truck! I wish I could downsize to a regular or supercab like all my old ones but I know I’d be pissed at myself if I ever tried it. My only hate on this new one is all that chrome on the front. Other than that I can dig it.

Seems like you just got the 150!

You need to change your input in the media window. Hit the little icon, and it should change. It should say your cell phone's name.

Do you let the air out of the tires every night to get in the garage? Or does your garage lift up for it?

It was an honor to have
    my ASS kicked by you!

Change input to Sync In, phone paired & connected, music playing on phone, silence in the truck...

The black beasts occupy the garage.

I can pull it in garage to work on it, it clears the garage door opening by 1" on the clearance lights.

Can't jack it up much but with the big ground clearance it = all good!

Installed new rear shocks today, huge improvement! It still has original shocks on it.

    Ordering fronts now.

Bummed I can't use the Wheathertech front mats & Genisis roll-up toneau cover from the 2018 F150 on it...

Will have to sell them & order new.

It has a Truxedo roll-up toneau but it is isn't watertight. The Genisis design is superior.

"Fighting with the 1st gen Sync radio at the moment. it pairs, connects and phone is playing music but no audio from radio..."

We have a 2010 Expedition that similar problems, went to this site to try and fix ithttps://owner.ford.com/support/how-t...th-myford.html
(yes had to register) only to find out that I had to take to the dealerhip for a long needed update.

I don't know if you're an Apple user or Android, if I used my phone(Android) everything worked fine, Wife's phone (an Apple 5s at the time) would not. Dealership did not charge me(thought I have a Ford CSP warranty). Once they did the update everything was back to normal.

Betting the previous owner, like us did know about the update, but they may never of noticed or they knew and didn't care.

    Hope this helps.
