    I'll be absent this year

My doctors have advised me to miss large crowds this year. I am 73, have astma, am being treated for prostate cancer, and I have type A+ blood.

All of these put me at extreme risk, mask or no mask. Since I don't own a space suit, I will have to pass on this years Carlisle All Fords Show.

Joann and I will not be going this year due to the crack down on Covid. I have Diabetes and high blood pressure so I am at risk also. Hopefully next year!

We are out this year as well. Mostly because people do not follow the guidelines about masks and distancing. Hopefully there will be a vaccine by next years show.

Well, we are still considering taking a drive on Saturday; will know in a few days when we check Pennsylvania's protocols.
If we get to Carlisle and it's "madness, maskless crowds" we will turn around and head back. Just for the sake of taking a drive will be a nice break from monotony of the last 4 months.

We went to a New Car Show held at a popular area. As soon as we got their I said no. The most crowded car show I have ever seen. All the cars and people on top of each other with no masks.

To get to the rest rooms you would have to pass thru a large crowd.

    Not worth it.

Last minute: Carlisle Bound! My friend Charlie and I decided to go for it--we'll be there in his black 03 again, registering at the gate. I am not expecting a big, crowded show, but don't look for me in the food court or under the grandstands where people congregate. I look forward to seeing all the regulars back in 2021! Be safe!

    Hey, Michael,

So far we are still planning to go for the day Saturday. Hope we'll get to meet you at the section of Marauder parking on showfield. We, too, will not be getting close to crowds.

My Mustang club hit on a way of giving back to our first responders. We choose a fire department and/or EMT group each month.
The club buys food and refreshments for approx 50 responders. We then go as a group with our Mustangs to deliver the food.
After we drop off the food and thank the responders, we get into our cars and have a driving tour. We stay in our cars, and enjoy the sights and sounds of our tour.

The average cost of everything is under $ 300 per group served. Most of this money has come from very generous donations from various members of the club.
The organizations we thank are thrilled that their work is appreciated.
