Question 2002 GMQ LSE HPP rear brake pads 1" phenolic piston?

Can someone verify that I am correct with my recollection of which rear brake pads the rig calls for.?

I thought the police issue rear pads were 1 3/4" steel piston.
Now I see both sizes offered for police issue W/ steel piston.
