2002 GMQ LSE HPP rear air ride height sensor

I though the rear air ride height sensor for the Marquis, was the same as the Marauder.
Maybe because the upper and lower rear control arms and Watts link ,air compressor and air bags are the same.
Can anyone clear up this issue? how does the air ride height system activate without the the sensor that attaches to the watts link

the 98-02 cars and 03+ cars have different air ride sensors

I don't see how the system could activate without that sensor (in fact I know it won't due to personal experience with them snapping) because the car won't know what ride height the car is currently at, ergo it won't know if it needs to add or bleed air from the bags.

This is what a 98 - 02 sensor looks like

    this is 03+

Thanks offroadKarter, you don't have a source to purchase do you?
The system only has one sensor ? Not one for each side

One sensor only, it rides on the watts link which is how it knows the ride height

They're all over ebay, looks like the aftermarket is making them now which was not the case the last time I had to replace one, IIRC OEM ones used to be 150 bucks
