Mt. Rainier cruise (tag-a-long) with local NSX crew

Last Wednesday, I was invited out for a cruise hosted by the local Acura NSX club.

This was a closed members only cruise unless you got invited directly by someone who knows you and is going. Luckily my buddy Nate gave me the green light. I've been helping him wrench on his '91 NSX all summer and he wanted to repay kindness with a cruise with his fellow NSXers

For a Wednesday it was a pretty good showing. 12 NSX, 1 BMW, 1 Mercury. We met up in on Puyallup around 10 am then cruised towards Mt Rainier Nat'l Park.

I stayed mostly to the end of the caravan, so as not to impede their flow and ( trust me) having done multiple Mercury Marauder caravans and cursing when someone interrupts our group.. I was totally fine being the tail guy.

We had some great photo ops (below) and some of the NSX guys knew what a Marauder was and was quite impressed with the handling and speed. They are great car guys and enjoyed having conversations with them.

Happy to provide more feedback and but here are some photos from our cruise:

Mt. Rainier cruise (tag-a-long) with local NSX crew

We had an NSX and an Audi show up at our last Chicago Garage C&C. The NSX was wrapped in a custom wrap of all his childhood toys/video games/and good memories. Although not my taste I thought it was a pretty cool concept IMO. Both cars had ludicrous money thrown at them...
