Good morning everyone! I was wondering if anyone knew the number of KB Marauder S cars produced. Also, any thoughts on the relative value for a KB car compared to a comparable stock Marauder (same year, miles, condition). Thanks!

There were 10 numbered cars and the non-numbered car count is debatable, Contact member N40GL as I believe he has a list of owners and can perhaps give you an accurate count. He has Number 10 a Silver Birch. He might even have a link if you check out his profile page.
Thanks Mr. Man! I appreciate the response and will try that.

Almost right. The first ten "Marauder S" cars Kenny built were designated "Signature Edition" cars and carried slightly different shop badging from the others on the build plaque ('MSE" instead of 'MS'), denoting "Marauder Signature Edition" (instead of "Marauder S"). Bill Karrow and Sgt. Mac (both members of this Board) each owned the first one at one time. I have the tenth one. The numbers were assigned when the car was ordered, even though it took a while to build. For example, I reserved the #10 car in February 2003, but didn't get it delivered until May, because Ford hadn't yet started building the Silver Birch version (which leads to another long story about paint, but not for this post). Kenny Brown signed each Signature Edition on a carbon fiber plaque on the intercooler of each car, in addition to the stamped build plaque on the console.
After all Signature Edition numbers were taken, Marauders were built as customers ordered them. After the first 10, the cars got a build plaque on the console in the order in which they were built. I believe (without going and looking all over the place for them and checking the records) that a total of 26 Marauders were built, each with a Vortech SQ-1 supercharger. I recall seeing the records and reaching out to all the owners of all the cars Kenny converted back in 2010 to join Kenny at the 25th anniversary celebration of Kenny Brown Enterprises. They were scattered all over the country, and a few in Europe.
I have no idea how many 'survive.' Mine is still in the garage, under its little car cover, and comes out to play on rare weekends, or the occasional trip to Paso Robles. In Los Angeles traffic, I'm a little paranoid about getting the back bumper whacked and totalling the car because of it. Gordon and Chris have two (#5 and #7, I think, but someone please correct me). I don't know if there is a carbon fiber plaque on the intercooler on "MS" cars since I have never run into one (pardon the pun).
