Where can I find a Marauder Engine?

Based on a diag from a ford dealership, Cylinder#8 is down to 41% and they recommend that I replace the long block assembly. I am hoping I dont need a new/used engine but in case I do, does anyone know a good place to look?

    Thanks in advance

Rebuild what you have, get it out of the dealership. Could be the cylinder 8 valve failure due to poor cooling flow. It over heats and the valve gets bent.

I'd get that thing to a Marauder specialist asap! There are great many on this forum...they'll fix past and future issues.

so another mechanic I took it to is telling me that the valve dropped and did some damage to the cylinder head. He is saying about $3500 to repair which seems high to me.

Head and intake have to come off at a minimum, and.... if that motor has miles, you may as well remove the front dress and replace the guides tensioner’s and chains, it would be easier and cheaper to find a used motor and R&I it, only 10ish hours to do that.

Bottom line, if this is work you yourself cannot do, it will cost $$$.

Whatever you do, you need to do the head cooling mod. Cyl.7 and 8 have a low flow passage of and overtime overheats and did what yours has done.
