    Modifications/Stuff I have done on the car:
    Engine:
    rebuilt stock; slightly overbore. Original 68k mile heads, new OEM Ford performance timing kit, Terminator Cobra Oil Pump, Billet Steel oil pump gears, ARP head studs, main cap studs, and side bolts. The latter ARP stuff for future endeavors.
    Transmission:
    Thor 2800-3000 Stall Converter
    Suspension:
    ADTR Front + Rear Sway Bars
    Metco Billet Watts Link
    Metco Billet Rear Control Arms
    Cosmetic:
    1998-2003 Amber tail lamp conversion - Painted and smoked to near-OEM spec.
    HID Projector Headlamp Retrofit
    OEM Mercury Mountaineer Hitch Cover
    Front in-channel rain guards

    4-pin trailer harness

    See, now that it’s winter down here in GA we get sub-zero temperatures such as 55 degrees or maybe even 40!

    I've been down in GA a few times during late spring/mid-summer...gimme the heat any day. I can drive a car year round in that.

    Up here, if you want to keep a car clean, your safest bet is to pick up a cheap winter beater, toss some snow tires on it, and prepare for it to rust into oblivion. My new one:




    This replaces my 2004 LX (which I bought from pantheroc)...the trunk floor rusted out on that one and the driver's floorpan was about to follow suit. It's a field car at my buddy's farm now.

    All is well as long as your A/C works! The first few months of ownership my A/C barely worked which was great in the summer heat but I finally got around to topping off the refrigerant a few months ago and she's ice cold.
