Talking Got my Marty tune a week ago!

And damn, it's a far cry from both the stock tune and the older Reinhart tune that was on this car. Totally worth the ~500 bucks for the SCT tuner with the tune loaded on it. I have yet to fill up my tank, but I'm pretty sure my fuel economy is a bit better too, which shows just how anemic that stock tune is (and for those that followed my poor fuel eco thread, I was getting a solid 10[!] MPG with that Reinhart Dual tune, and it wasn't even as good as the Marty tune!) compared to this tune. Thanks to all the guys here that pointed me over to Marty, and thanks to the man himself for answering the flurry of questions I had for him over E-Mail. His shop is only about an hour away from where I live, so I got the package just a day after he sent it out.

Now she's even more fun to drive for a 2 ton hunk of steel. I really gotta get this thing on a track someday. In the meantime, I'll be blasting Karma Chameleon and other random 80's songs on the road.

    Anyway, good day to y'all.

I still have my original Xcal2 with Lidio tune from well over a decade ago. It is antiquated but what I am used to. I've started preparing for the Eaton Swap after obtaining a huge head start on parts. I know little to nothing about different tunes from one to the next but I'll be getting a custom tune after the installation. I love my neck snapping upshifts.

The transmission shifting feel alone makes it feel like new. The older tune and stock made me think something was wrong it shifted so weird.

Best part of the tune is definitely how hard the transmission shifts when I mash the gas

Makes me wonder if my car came with a Marty tune. I got an SCT programmer with the car and he said it really firmed up the shifts. I put it back to stock because of the car developing a misfire on the drive home. I need to ask who did the tune for him. I wonder if Marty can look up the cars he’s done via the VIN. I was hesitant to have the tune not knowing it’s origins.
