    Wheel Spacers VS Wheel Adapters

I was trying to fit my 10" widened stock wheels on the car and of course they need a "spacer" of some sort. My question is there any reason NOT to consider "adapters" so I would not have to add longer lug studs?

IMO the disadvantage of longer studs is that if you change/swap-out other rims you would need to pull-out the axles to swap-in/out the studs. *Unless you don't mind open lug nuts rather than the acorn.

Either, spacers or adapters, need to be hub centric.

Hub centric is the only way to go as Joe stated.

You went 1/2" too wide, hard to find an option for a shallow application in a hub centric adapter.

You may only have spacers as an option. Unless your willing to cut the existing studs down....
