    Wheels on a Fusion

If the stock 17” rims are replaced with 20” rims, will the speedometer need to be recalibrated? This assumes the new tires and rims are the same overall height as the old tires and rims.

As said above, as long as overall diameter is same, no speedo error. Use this tire comparison site to check sizes.

Not sure of your overall objective with said Fusion, but keep in mind keeping the same overall diameter of the new sized tire/wheel package you are going to from what I would imagine a reasonably ride comfort sized side wall to what must be a rubber band aspect tire. Ride quality is going to suffer a lot.

This was a used car I was looking at.
Tires go from 17x7 to 20x8 Ford performance rims with brand new Hancook Evo 2 Performance tires. Something like 255 /35. Couldn’t see the picture very well.

    My 2014 Fusion had 245/45/18, went to 245/35/20, didn't change a thing!

I recently went to the Focus RS 19's.
