ON / OFF Drivers Seat Heater Switch

Can anyone supply the OEM part number for the ON / OFF Drivers Seat Heater Switch? I've searched on TASCA and can't locate it.

Mine doesn't have heated seats. Can you upload a pic of where the switch is and what it looks like?

Doesn’t turn on / off most times I try to use it.

That part is made by standard. I got that from google. Looking for Motorcraft.

Have you checked the switch with a meter?
If it's like my town car it just sends a negative pulse to the Heated Seat Module.

If I’m going to take the door panel off, I’m just going to replace it. It stoped illuminating anyways when the lights are on.

And the new ones will, too. Mine have been replaced four times. Apparently it's a solder issue and not the LED just burning out. It's frustrating because this isn't 1982.

Same solder issue as the LCM.

That is correct.... in the '80's and earlier you were able to use high content lead solder. Now due to regulations lead is no longer prevalent in solder, hence the connections are more prone to cracking, especially in vehicles.

I use lead solder in my repairs.

So the switch is discontinued by Ford. eBay sellers are trying to order from Ford. Picked it up on Amazon. Used item SW7171. Under $20
