    heat & noise shielding

    Hey guys,
I have a few jobs to get done and I am wondering if there is one good product out there that could do all of them for me

    1) The insulation under the car, (seats) on either side of the transmission is coming apart big time and makes working under the car in that area no fun; like breathing insulation while working in the house attic

    2) Need to thermally insulate the EGR tube

    3) With stainless works headers coming soon (ADTR), I know I am going to want to protect the starter and some portion of the cabling going to the starter

Dynamat was previously recommended for the EGR tube, however, a look at Dynamat's website left me wondering which product of theirs to use. Is there a single product out there you could recommend that would let me get all 3 jobs done well?

    Thanks guys

I removed all that crappy insulation off the floor, firewall, and even the A/C box and painted the entire underside of the car and wall with truck bed coating. (Car was all but stripped underneath at the time and seemed logical.. Turned out stupid nice! I just put a couple of rolls of this on the floor under the carpet and as much as I could reach up the inside firewall. You can go crazy on sound deadening products but this was more than adequate for me, I’m simple. And also the A/C had zero change in temps with it left off. This was the actual company I used to cover part of the rear cooling mod I told you about. Not a perfect solution but effective and out of site.

As for the starter I just used a cheap one from DEI if I recall.

My billet Jegs hi torque mini starter still looks brand new! Hate to cover it but...

I got a new one off of eBay. I removed the one over the AC Heater core box as well.

Strange, it says doesn't fit 03 or 04 Marauder.

Did you have to make any alterations to get it to work?

There is one part You have to tear to fit around the body mount on the frame if I recall correctly. Fits great other than that.

That honestly wouldn’t ever fit in my car. Yes my tranny is that tight! (Where’s Casey for that comment? )
