Windshield Pinprick Chips
I have recently noticed Pinprick Chips on the windshield of 1 car and on the front part of the passenger side window plus the windshield on another car.
I have never seen this before. Only a "Car Guy" would notice.
Anyideas on the causes so We can try to avoid?

Glass is soft actually, it gets sandblasted basically. Replace windshield is true only way. My daily driver is sandblasted and was replaced 18-19 months ago.
