I’m currently with USAA. You can insure your car for 20% over blue book with them, but that is still not nearly enough. I plan to switch over to Hagerty and insure it at an “agreed value”.

Hagerty, but may be changing. It can't be a daily driver, and garage generally required

Driveway parking is now allowed in many circumstances. They also have a new rating category called Seasonal Usage. Mine is insured this way. Daily driven from April to November except for thunderstorm days or days I drive the Impala.

2,500 is averaging two and half years for me anymore. Seems like I drive it a lot, all short trips though..

Generally can not be daily driver for agreed value coverage. Most have mileage ranges, you have to ask what mileage sets they offer.

    Not completely true now.

Hagerty has a "Seasonal Driver" rating class. For cars that are parked for the winter and you have another daily also. Sample: I daily drive the MM & SS April thru Nov but drive the P/U on stormy days (to avoid hail). This is how I got my MM & SS & Ranger on Hagerty policy with Agreed Guarantied value coverage with Cherished Salvage endorsement. (super cheap too!)

I didn't renew Hagerty..they want too much $$ even with $500 deductible. It must be my state..I switched to American Classic, zero deductible, and I raised the agreed value on both my cars..$ 300 cheaper

Thanks for the reminder. I currently use Condon & Skelly for my one car. I'm going to call them up this week and get some info on insuring my MM. I'm surprised I did not think of this last Fall.

I highly suggest Hagerty. Mine is insured as collector (2004 low number build) and I was able to get it and save almost $400 a year over State Farm which insures my other 2 cars. Stipulations of garage/primary vehicle/mileage are standard but what I loved was the "Cherished Salvage" clause which allows you to keep the vehicle after a write off. I am insured for $27,000 and it's $940/year. It drops slightly if you pay all at once but I do semi annually.
'04 Silver Marauder w/ sunroof - HID lighting, JL Audio / Eclipse DVD/NAV/iPod/camera, 4.10's, 2" drop, Progard Bumper Baffle, Delete tips, Billet Pedals, BC4E dead pedal, Lidio Tune, Mach1 chin spoiler, K&N CAI, TCE lines, Super40's, tinted tails, SS Inserts, Heinous Control Arms, Real oil gauge, lighted door handles. And with your Hagerty policy you will get paid $27,000 (less deductible) if its totaled.

With your SF policy you would only get ACV less deductible.
