    I’m back and I need to beat a CTS-V

Hey everyone just letting you know that it’s official I’m back in a boosted Marauder. My last Marauder used to put a whooping on my friends old GTO. Well he has a CTS-V now that runs 10.7s. I don’t know what I need to do but I need to beat him. My new car currently is pro charged built by Zack. I need all with knowledge to chime in because this has to happen! I’ll post pictures soon.

Well it’s not deep but I can afford a thing or two lol. Right now my car makes mid 500s at the wheels. Been thinking about what else could I do to push this a bit further.

I could save you lots of grief, money, and bloody knuckles and sell you my F1-A Procharged car. Easily a turn key CTS/V destroyer.

Other than that your looking at probably a 100 shot of Nitrous and an upgraded tune on the cheap side. That will get you out of the gate the quickest. Not sure what you have for an engine and blower combo but perhaps even a pulley swap may work. What’s the blowers peak performance in boost? Are you anywhere near it?

Mine is rated to 38#’s and I’m only at 26#’s so plenty of room both there and with fuel delivery to grow. Need full stats on your set up to guide you.

Hey justbob been a long time! Haha sell me your car that would be the easiest. This one was posted over on thechicagogarage built by Zack. I’m still going over all the info but the build is posted here:
    https://www.thechicagogarage.com/thr...rauder.123308/

I was thinking a 100 shot would help. He’s running a 10.7 right now with 728 rwhp. Those Vs are about 1000 pounds heavier than ours as well though.

Yea I ended up buying it from him Jeff is a great guy! I definitely enjoyed talking with him. Now about this car haha I need it to run high 10s. Jeff never took it down a strip but if I had to guess this is a mid to high 11 sec car? Seriously though how much would you sell your car for?

You're going to need a trainload of cash... We have several V builds under our belt at my shop... 700+ rwhp is pretty easy and deep 10's is a no brainer... To get a Marauder to that HP level you're gonna need a fully forged engine, and at least 25# of boost, E85, a nasty transmission build as well...

Yea he got up to 700 rwhp pretty fast. Mine is already tuned for E85 with a D1 procharger. If I kept it the same and added a 100-150 shot would that make it competitive? I don’t intend to build a race car I just need a car that can do a few 10 sec passes so I can shut my friend up. We are good old Army buddies. I shut him up before when he had his GTO but this V that he has is something serious.
