    M-11 s/c

What are some of the key things checking for condition in purchasing a used M-11 S/C. end play tolerance, bearings, rotor or case wear ect ?

Yes, after all things considered I have to agree a rebuild is in order. The s/c case has no sign of galling, rotors look good, oil has no metal filing or burnt oil smell but it does have a little more end play than I would like to see. I have looked into three places for a rebuild and maybe a little porting. I have talked to High Speed Lab in Missouri, Scol in Calf, and Steigmeir in Mo. Steigmeir cost the most but I think they are more though. Was wondering the best way to ship ?

UPS, boxed and padded very well, drain the oil.. heavy duty box, it can't be allowed movement in box or it will roll around and prolly bust open.
