    keyed voltage source

    Hi guys,

Hey, I'm trying to find the best source for a keyed 12 volts to send to my autometer gauges...
Anyone have a good location to pull from?
I've got the dashboard pretty much completely taken apart.

The gauges will be located in the drivers side pillar - three gauge pod. Boost, wideband fuel, and fuel pressure.

    Thanks
    -KK

Look at the wires to the oil pressure gauge, radio, etc.

You really need an electrical manual.

Before you ask.... yes, Marauder-specific information is in the manual.

    keyed voltage source

I suggest Alldatadiy. Best/fastest to navigate it solely off the search bar. I’ve had probably 30+ vehicles registered on there over the last decade.

Example from your other question on oil pressure wiring:

    Search box - oil pressure

Scroll down until you see - gauge

Scroll down until you see - diagrams

    Click on electrical

    And bingo, all your answers.

    I can’t show you because it’s copyrighted.
Even though I had your answer in my head already, I chose to verify it first as I hate when people spew out misinformation. I had my answer in less than 10 seconds after logging in on my phone. It just doesn’t get any easier than that.

All diagrams of everything, all torque specs, all step by steps, part numbers, and book times at your fingertips for like $35/five years.

You need to buy a 12v test light.

    Yes,
    However,
Right now the car has no battery , no power, 3 feet up in the air on jacks, etc. I am hesitant to put the battery in since I have decent amount of stuff taken apart.

Could use an ohm meter between the positive cable and the source in question...but there might be some
timed out relays that could fool me.

Choose a circuit that you know is not switched, like tail lights or something.

    Fixed.

Go for the radio fuse. You’ll still need a test light to install the original fuse into the correct slot. I’ve seen them wired both ways from the same manufacturer.
