    It's usually the BCM. Due to environmental concerns, the solder in the BCM has no lead, which caused brittle joints. That is why it may work for awhile after you tap it. I repair them with high content lead solder and add an extra connection for reliability.

    Now thats one problem; it didnt turn on after I tapped it. problem number 2; the procharger belt has slipped for the second time; theres no one local to have it repaired due to my limited time and inexperience with replacing a belt with this setup. I dont see the logic of returning the car to Marty O just to replace the belt.
