    Parking Brake

I’m installing new parking brake shoes today. I can’t figure out why when I push the parking brake pedal, the pedal goes all the way to the floor with very little resistance. With the parking brake engaged, I can remove the rotors easily. I’ve set the adjusters so that there seems to be some resistance when I install the rotors. If I give them a few more clicks, I can’t get the rotors on. What am I doing wrong?

Sometimes the hook for the cable to the brake assembly comes loose.
