Looks like the old reliable Ford GT pump isn't available on RockAuto any longer. It just so happens the pump in my 03 is going out. Can the Aeromotive 340 be used on a stock vehicle without a tune or modified FPDM?

wonder what significance that must be ?

    Anyone have an idea?

    Thanks so much
The one FBM posted has the incorrect part number. 4G7Z-9A407-AA doesn't yield any results from Tasca

I wouldn't trust it as a true GT Supercar pump.

You could always search for the gen2 GT pump. The gen2 is E85 compatible and has a built in blow off valve so you will need to remove the existing PPRV

Is that the part number posted above? I can't remember if it will require a tune or not. I've been out of the game for a couple years.

Thanks for this info BackNBlack. Ordered mine on Monday & received it on Friday so I know for a fact it is still available. Just google search motorcraft PFB-81 & it came up in multiple places.

Well Still looking to get fuel pump and from what has been mentioned here so far it seems there are 3 to consider:

    1. The Aeromotive 340
    2. 2005-06 Ford GT Motor craft part number etc
    3. Kennebell with likely boost-a-pump type application

All are great but i will say i am clue less on any of their knowledge and application on install--with that being said --

Could I get some more info from everyone on the following:--Thanks!

    1. Where is the pump located?
    2. Does the tank have to be lowered and fuel removed considerably?
    3. If #2 is in effect then I guess getting to it from inside the trunk is out of play? correct?
    4. and is all three of the pumps above just one size and all will fit into tank no problem or must a special size be chosen?

Told ya I don't know and don't want to buy the wrong one -- Guess I may just need to have it done by one who knows for a supercharger MM.. but thanks and appreciate all everyone's help and post on this --

    1. Where is the pump located? Inside the tank, connected to an access panel found on the side of tank facing forward toward rear chunk
    2. Does the tank have to be lowered and fuel removed considerably? No
    3. If #2 is in effect then I guess getting to it from inside the trunk is out of play? correct? No need to
    4. and is all three of the pumps above just one size and all will fit into tank no problem or must a special size be chosen? I just know the FordGT pump is a "plug & play"

    1) Pump is in fuel tank
    2) Tank does not need to be removed
    3) Siphon fuel down to 1/4 tank, just have to get the level below the fuel hat
    4) The Aeromotive takes some minor fuel line and wiring customization - very simple. The other 2 I don't know for sure about

Cut the fuel tank pressure wires to make fuel hat/sender/pump assm removal very easy and then use a 3-term Weather-Pac connector to reconnect the wires which makes future removal of the assm easy peezy.

I've got a Trilogy and my fuel pump just died.

In the photo above, it looks like the electrical connectors are different than the OEM pump or the Focus SVT pump (PFS204). Is this photo accurate? How do you rewire?

Is there a 255lph+ pump that is currently available that has the factory style electrical connector on it that any one can recommend?

    Thanks in advance.

    Dr Why,

What did you end up using? I too have a trilogy and would like a plug and play option. I dont want to cut my wiring.

    Thanks

I believe I have found a direct OEM compatible drop in part. Same connectors, no splicing.
