You "feel" the difference because you want to "feel" the difference. Since you just spent money on the upgrade you "have" to feel the difference

I used to go multiple times a year. I finally had a break down in 2013 that cost me several hundred to get her home. This happened on a school night with the wife and three young kids and it was nearing 1 AM iIRC when we finally got in. It kind of killed my buzz I guess as I never even think about it anymore?
I even bought a tow rig and nice trailer immediately after so no excuse there. Just really no interest I guess. You should know that when I run my stuff (cars, bikes, dirt bikes, tools, wife, ETC) I have a mindset to push the limits and if by chance nothing broke then I didn’t push hard enough. Always looking for the weak link…
I’m finally to the age that I’m tired of breaking things, more so wrenching on the same vehicle probably so I have chosen to relax a bit more LOL Life’s been grand (mostly) for the last few years.

I used to go drag racing several times a year with the Marauder, or one of my Mustangs.
Now that the 2 closest tracks* to me have closed, I haven't gone anymore.
* Capital Raceway was 15 minutes from my house and they closed 2 years ago.
75-80 Dragway was 40 minutes from my house and they closed in 2005, reopened then closed again in 2013.
I ran my Marauder at their last night of racing back in 2005.
I did run my Fusion Sport at Capital in 2018 and it ran a 14.000 bone stock.
I wish that I had entered the 14 second class that day....heh heh heh
