Cleetus McFarland at the drag strip

Cleetus with his black 03 (not stock)

    11.931 @ 116.33 (MT ET Streets)
    12.073 @ 118.43 (Nitto 555)

I love the smell of Nitromethane and rubber in the morning!
    Drag racers prayer:
As I lay rubber down the street, I pray for traction I can keep, but if I spin and begin to slide, please dear God protect my ride." -Amen

    What's under the hood?
Knowing Cleetus, I'm assuming an LS swap with Chinese turbo.

CameronVic built the car, its a LS Turbo. Cleetus just bought the car as-is.

The name CameronVic alone should imbue some deferential treatment here. Dude has made the word "sleeper" a real commodity in the Panther legion

Myeh.....Shoving a junkyard LS into any car is relatively easy and very inexpensive.
Constantly blowing up junkyard 5.3s is relatively easy and very time consuming.

BTW: Did you notice how badly the Marauder was breaking up and backfiring at high revs......yikes.

I'd give many more props to the member (minimarine09 ?) and his super clean Turbo Coyote install.

People like to give Cameron a hard time.
Personally i think what he has done is great! Good for him!
People have been putting chevy engines in fords for like 50 years now. Nothing new.
Personally it would not be my first choice, and i would not do it to my car.
But that doesn't mean i don't support what he does.
I wish him the best of luck

Yeah i guess wasn't trying to poke at Cameron's build or anything, my comment was more that I appreciate his Crown Vics at the track being total sleepers
