    Electric steering assist mod.

I found these guys that just released a mod to convert a crown vic engine cradle to electric steering assist from a 2015+ mustang.
While they technically made it for the f100 conversion guys, does anyone see any reason why this wouldn't work for us?

If you do a search for Volvo electric power steering conversion, you'll see that others have been doing this as well.

Interesting, while I prefer the feel of hydraulic steering, this would certainly upgrade the steering ratio from the slow factory 17:1
